2011 ECA Edmundson Awards

Luke and Oliver receive their commemorative certificates

At a recent luncheon at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in London the 2011 ECA Edmundson Awards were presented by Managing Director Gordon Love.

Luke Nesbitt, of P & R Hurt of Yeovil, was named the Adult Trainee of the Year and Oliver Devos, of SSE Contracting, Reading, was named as the ECA Edmundson 2011 Apprentice of the Year. Luke and Oliver were chosen from more than 1000 eligible candidates coming through regional and national heats.

Luke and Oliver were each presented with a commemorative certificate, a cheque for £1000, a contractor’s kit and a week’s study trip to Germany and Ireland kindly sponsored by Glen Dimplex which was represented by Managing Director Stuart Mackenzie.

Commemorative certificates were also presented to the Directors of P & R Hurt and SSE Contracting respectively.

Alun Pearson, President of the Electrical Contractors’ Association, congratulated Luke and Oliver on their achievement and thanked Edmundson Electrical for supporting this award scheme for the past 37 years.

Regional award winners will receive their award at luncheons hosted by Edmundson Regional Directors.
